YSE: Yourvid Save Energy

Yourvid Save Energy is a Comenius Multilateral project co financed by the EACEA- European Commission 2009-2011.
The principal aim of YSE is to motivate students and teachers in the arena of Sustainable Energy and Energy Saving at schools and society.
Outputs:
1. A new didactical approach based on Web2.0 (social networks) to create learning units available for the secondary schools across Europe.
2.E-learning training for trainers based on 4 didactic units:
How to use the video in the classroom?
Sustainable energy: an alternative to traditional energies
Energetic problems Awareness raising in and from the schools
Social networks in education

A number of 120 didactical videos, all about how to save energy at school and home, and for promote the use of sustainable energy in Europe´s Secondary Schools.
A pod casting repository of digital video with e-guides available in English and the native language of the partners (digital video with captions and subtitles)
An annual edition of Yourvid "let´s save energy" the European Competition devoted to motivate teachers, students and families in the arena of use sustainable energy and save energy. The competition will be associated with the European Campaign for sustainable energy in Europe.
