Just testing out my new-found love of the ukulele.

The song is Wake Up by Coheed and Cambria. If you don't yet own every single thing that they've ever produced then I suggest you head out right now to your 24 hour music shop and start buyin'. :)

  • Not to be a dck and rip into you. Buh that jus killed the song. Sounds like you took the easiest chords on the uke and jus sang the song over it regardless how it sounded.

Not saying I'm amazing at the ukulele myself, buh I do play and I know you can take only four chords and play hundreds of songs with em. Buh not this song.

  • @MrRiverBeaver I took the actual chords from the song, played them poorly and sung the song poorly over top of them.

  • Did you create the tab for this yourself!? Its really great and I lovee Coheed. Would you care to share your tab with the world? I'd love to learn this.

  • @genazu Hey thanks!

It's only chords, I did this soon after learning to play. The verse is F, C, G and the chorus is C, F, Dm.

    Take care!

  • I saw the title and thought it'd be "Wake up - by Rage Against the Machine" via ukulele.

I was pleasently surprised to hear you have a good singing voice and I enjoyed the tune, so I've favourited this.

    My favourite ukulele player:

Grew up listening to his genius.

  • Thank you very much!

Ha, that would be an interesting cover.

    Hey, that song was brilliant!

  • @seriouslymatsteele It's actually really good. I like how you sang it higher to harmonize with the uke. I was hoping it was finger picking on the uke like it is on the guitar, but I kinda dig it more this way I think. I think you did this very well.

  • I will thank you.

  • Good one, keep it up

  • Thanks! Yeah it's kind of an obscure song.
