@dlew71662 lmao..cover bar band. You funny boi...u mak me raff. This album is a compilation of all their musical influences. Open your mind and go back an listen to their first 4 albums. These guys are even better live...
@Maxharddrive64 thats because they never have put out a bad album...lol..I agree with you Tommy and Frank(now Frank and Dave) two of the baddest mofo's on the block!!...lol rock on my friend!
@dlew71662 average cover band?wtf are you huffin'?.The greatest Hard Rock band America has ever produced! they do it right, they do it consistently and they do it better than anyone else.Put the top back on the glue jar and step away..........
@ dlew716.....you my friend need to seriously get a music education..... I suggest you start with Mechanical Resonance (1986 - U.S platinum), then The Great Radio Controversy (1989 - 2x Multi Platinum, Canada - GOLD),5 man acoustical Jam (1990), Psychotic Supper (1991)
Bust a Nut (1994-US: Gold), Into the Now (2004),Reel to Real (2007),Forever More (2010)
THEN perhaps you are equipped to comment, either that or just carry on listening to Avril Lavine.
@WVFreebyrd I am a huge fan of theirs and I couldn't agree more with you. when its good its good. i've always thought Frank Hannon and (when he was still with the band) Tommy Skeoch were two of the most underrated guitarists in rock music. And quite Honestly I don't think Tesla has ever put out a bad album....Even their live album is like catching lightning in a bottle...pun intended
@whiteboy1815 Agree. Most, if not all, of the other cover/tribute albums put out by bands were simply novel, curiousity items. Interesting and fun but really not great musically. Tesla's "Real to Reel" is totally different. They stayed so true to the originals and the musicianship was unbelievable. I'm not a huge Tesla fan but this was an absolutely great album/CD.

Sounds good but it does lose a little bit of the soul of the original without the keyboard.
