Check out three of the players in this episode. A guest appearance by pre-Waltons (Miss) Michael Learned and Rankin/Bass regulars Carl Banas and Alfie Scopp.
Strange that this episode is black and white, season two was originally filmed in colour, this episode as a matter of fact. The show was supposedly canceled because the CBC didn't want to increase John Vernon's salary. It figures, the CBC comes up with a show that people actually want to watch and they cancel it. Then they have shows that have a lower production quality then your average community theater group (Air Farce, Mercer Report) and they give it a decade long run.
