Cutlass Fury!

The first boss fight in the game against some weird beast thingie. Anyways, not too hard. Though he did spam Thunder of Fury more than I expected. Caught me off guard slightly. That and he kept attacking Vyse instead of Aika who was supposed to be the attack dummy. Yay for Moon Berry though.

And yes, Alphonso is a butt.

During battles, what's the meter at the top for?

It shows how many Spirit Points you have. You replenish a certain number each turn. Which you need to use S. Moves like Vyse's Cutlass Fury. Obviously you replenish more as you level up.

if by half you mean health, then yes it depends on how much health they have, although if your party starts dying, it changes to another music variant of the same theme, which can happen even after the "your Winning!" music starts playing.

I haven't played this game in years so I can't remember, does the last half of the boss music start to play when the bosses half is low or does it just change by itself?
