Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
David Gilmour - Rick Wright - Nick Mason. Saxophone: Candy Dulfer.
Knebworth, Hertfordshire, 1990.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond (from album "Wish You Were Here" 1975)

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the cross fire of childhood and stardom,
Blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger,
You legend, you martyr, and shine!

You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Treatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
Rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, come on you painter,
You piper, you prisoner, and shine!

  • Rest in Peace, dearest Wright :(

  • @spectrumwiz

how many years are you old?

  • David had to perform on a rubber grid this performance..just so he wouldn't get electrocuted rainy night that what..

  • Absolutely masterful!!!!!

  • David Gilmour, Richard Wright (RIP) and Nick Mason together with Candy Dulfer, I never realized that she played with them. It would be awesome to see the surviving members play in concert again with Candy and David Gilmour's other friend, Bryan Ferry

  • Hating that I never had the chance to see floyd in concert

  • I also don't like candy. His voice is not so psychedelic

  • @Floyd199321 Absolutely Timeless Music !! In another 4000 years people will still be listening to the Pink Floyd albums.
