This is my first vid in a long while, so I hope that I haven't lost my touch! This movie was all kinds of inspiring for me, and I only thought it proper to make a few vids for it.

  • Oh, wow. That was really rude. This song, in my opinion, fits their relationship rather well. I didn't just "put in" an "unrelated pop song" because "the other kiddies are doing it."

"And I don't want the world to see me cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am."

It fits. But, maybe I'm the only one that sees it.

  • I did film-scoring professionally for 10 years, so I have strong opinions on the subject. The last thing I want to hear in a video about Beethoven is a pop song. The kind of connection you mention would work with literally hundreds of thousands of pieces of music. Why not put Schubert in there? Basically, some things work better than other things. It wasn't rude, it was frank. What would Beethoven do if he saw heard this? I hate to think. Your music fits a different movie.

  • I do this for fun. I'm not saying that it should rightly be used for anything other than such a purpose. This was a light-hearted attempt at bottling the film with a song that fit lyrically and moved at the correct pace. It's all for personal enjoyment, but other people enjoy it as well, it seems. Anyway, don't you think Beethoven himself would be a bit annoyed if I edited a film about him and put it to Schubert? "My music" honestly fits whatever film I can edit to make it feel right.

  • I forgot to also mention that Windows Movie Maker decided to give me trouble near the end, so it's not complete.

  • I shall be frank: He wouldn´t do anything because he´s dead. A inteligent person must enjoy, or at least make an effort to enjoy every kind of music, every kind of literature, every kind of films, because only then he or she can express an opinion. True it´s not conventional, maybe it doesn´t fit, and if it´s the last thing you want to hear, then don´t. By the way, Beethoven loved music, and he also liked of trying new things. Even if it´s not his kind of music, he would like to hear it.

  • Well I really love that movie. I think it was a really really amazing film and Ed Harris did an amazing job. I think you made a really cool video and I'm so excited to see that there are other ppl that are as passionate about the movie as I am.

  • I really loved this video. I really enjoy this song, and I think the lyrics and visual images work together wonderfully to express a lot of emotion. I really like your video editing, too, it was quite seamless. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Awesome!Without the ending is even more interesting...Something like that symphony by Schubert...;))))))

  • I like this. Isn't it interesting how today can fit so well into yesterday? (If that makes sense.) Great job, even if it did end too soon. :)
