Can anyone get and post a recording of the curfew horn at the fire station on the northeast side of the town?
I remember it as a child visiting my grand parents on Pennibaker Ave. in the late 1950s and early 60s.
It had a strange sound: "Beeeeeeeee....aarUUgha,
beeeeeeeee.....aarUUgah,
...aarUUgah
Wondered what made the "aarUUgah" sound and the third "aarUUgah" sound.
