Break Away 100

After watching Breaking Away and having a few beers, Seth, Geoff, and Michael got to thinking, "How awesome would it be to have a team relay bicycle race like this?" So here it is. Tag team fixed gear cycling action on Kaimuki High Schools track. The first attempt had a small field of participation although it was still pretty frikken RAD! Originally it was suppose to be 100 laps but the security decided to shut us down. Stay tuned for part 2... Coming up soon... It would be dope with more riders, an actual peleton so that if someone breaks away there can be chase groups formed to help each other out and more race tactics can take place. Start training and let's ride bikes!

I just got this movie from the 80's called breakaway. But they were pretty crazy in the movie to go singlespeed and brakeless!? Awesome vids guys.
