@mronemanband1 "Wing nut!" LMAO! That's what Dio called Malmsteen when he auditioned for him! Good quote! Totally agreed on finding ones own sound. When I was that age, I wanted to be EVH. Then I settled into my own little ways, and I do alright. Whatever I do, it sounds like me. That's when you find your own voice. Great post mronemanband1!

@jonathan5008 Furthermore, I'm not a shredder. I'm more the Jimmy Page school type player. Nothing against kittens and nephews. That was rude of me and I apologise. I never got into theory and neo classical guitar. I'm a fan, but that wasn't my thing. Regardless, I don't want to fight about it. I just never studied harmonic minor arpeggios, and sweep picking. It was choice, not lack of ability. My tastes in playing lean more towrd Jerry Garcia and David Gilmour and Alex Lifeson.
