  • I see a lot of really bright red with green stripes. :)

  • i have seen them range from tan/light brown to green and bright red. I guess its all down to water paramaters and what they're feeding on and whether they've just molted :)

  • Oh cause at the time it was about 4a.m. in Malaysia.

  • It was only about 7pm, man.

  • You're up late.

  • Good for them. It probably prevents them being an overpopulated, financially broken country......like England. Hard to believe they were our cast offs. They do a better job of running their country than most.

  • actually its because the land down under prohibits all exportation of their animals, not to mention a law about bringing in contraband so fierce it puts maximum security prisons to shame. Most of the australian fishes you see today, are bred from before this law was enforced. Or else in public displays and zoos, to which the Aussies give some liniency to.

  • Strangely, no. Most of the fish come from countries where cheap labour is the norm.

  • But none from Australia....

  • We use a few to make sure that we get the range and quality we require. One week we may order from our UK supplier, the next we may import from Singapore, Columbia, Peru etc. It depends on what we need.
