This government is finished. The UN Islamic government is using force to hold on to power a few days longer. As of American I am proud of Iranian people for fighting for their basic rights; we are born free and we should live and die free...

I'm in college... money's kind of something I'll be short on until I'm done, but when I'm done I know that I can do more than just give them money... Just you wait.

Until these people learn to work together and tell their own leaders to end the pointless violence will real peace come about. If the people can do that, then they can ask countries like Canada, the US, the UK, and so on to intervene and help mediate peace talks.

I absolutely hate it when my country is asked to intervene on behalf of one group or the other, when the fault lies with both of them.

Agreed. I absolutely hate it when people come to my country and bring their wars with them. I remember the reports on the protests on Younge Street in Toronto where Palestinian and Israeli supporters were screaming at each other for hours. If it weren't for the thin line of policemen, an all out brawl would have broken out.

The only difference I see between protests like those and the wars in their homelands is the lack of machine guns.
