All fights are hand to hand, i find it hard to believe when thor weilds the hammer that hecules can not still beat him, but hey it a powerful hammer.. :/
Also hercules is the god of strength, and thor god of lighting, now in real life thor son is far stronger than him, but marvel has not screwed that up.. yet
@MrStiphenson They are presented as rivals. In physical strength, they are equal: They arm-wrestle in (Thor #400) for hours and none could beat the other. Hercules, however is better in hand to hand combat.
@BannerIncredibleHulk Most of the fights I have seen end up start out with weapons but end up hand to hand combat. Also, unless I am missing something, Thor and Hercules are even with two victories over eachother with Thor being gimped for both of Hercles' victories.
So Royce Gracie in the original UFCs showed it is possible for a weaker man to defeat a stronger man through the use of superior technique. Hercules had superior technique than Thor. It doesn't mean he is stronger.
Back in 1993, when the UFC first started, a skinny Brazilian by the name of Royce Gracie was the original champion. He was very skinny. No muscle. No strength. He was physically SMALLER and WEAKER than all of his opponents. He defeated everyone because his Jiu-Jitsu techniques relied on LEVERAGE and BALANCE. Hercules defeated Thor with a REAR NAKED CHOKE. With proper technique, a smaller, weaker man can defeat a bigger man with joint locks and CHOKE HOLDS. Hercules definitely has better TECHNIQ
@BannerIncredibleHulk thansk for pointing out a key point!!!

@MrStiphenson They used their weapons against each other before and Thor didn't win.

@hondaciviccoupe10 Exactly. Hercules did not overpower Thor. He outskilled him. Give them both warhammers and Thor will have the upperhand.

That's what i really don't get, Hercules is suppose to be the "God of strength" yet people are stronger than him.
