This is a slideshow of our family trip to Ireland in June of 2011. Ireland is a fantastic vacation spot -- lots of incredibly gorgeous scenery and architecture. We stayed in Dublin and there are a lot of things to do around the Dublin area. Dublin is on the east coast of Ireland, but we saw a lot of Ireland -- we took day trips to the west and south of Ireland. To me the most beautiful scenery is on the west coast of Ireland -- the Cliffs of Moher are breathtakingly beautiful. You need at least two hours there -- maybe more -- some tour trips only give you an hour and that is just not enough time to soak it all in. I would definitely recommend a trip to Ireland to anyone -- maybe we'll get back there again one day...

I used the Apple iMovie program -- it gives you a lot of different options for making a slideshow movie (including different music, etc.).

    2 questions:

I wonder what is the best season to go to Ireland?

And please can you sent me the tracks that you used to make the video?

    Nice vid!

  • @SeekerOfMusicGR I think the summer is definitely the best season to go due to the weather -- it's still very cool in the summer. We were there the middle of June and it was about 68 degrees F (about 20 C) -- you had to wear a jacket most of the time. I understand that it gets a little warmer in July and they have more sunny days in July as well. We were lucky -- it only rained twice during our 8-day stay. Would highly recommend a trip there -- the people are very friendly & it's beautiful.
