Again, needs more baroque and less egotistical trumpet playing. Listen to the subtlety of phrasing in the German Brass version since I'm sure you've heard them. Also, I'd look into baroque keyboard style as the basis for your trills. That would be another stylistic point that you might find useful. Again, though, you're a very fine trumpet player. Good performance.

starts off at one tempo... and gradually gets faster and faster and faster....

@McFlooow first off, this is vivaldi NOT written for brass. It can go much faster. Listen to a period ensemble play vivaldi, you will see how it goes. I love youtube. this is hilarious. Admittedly, its not perfect..maybe far from it. But thats the point of rehearsal. The members of this group used this to fix the mistakes.
You play trumpet. Upload something... It would be nice to hear you play. Hopefully someone wont have the arrogance to post a negative useless comment

Hey chris, did u play in the 2010 julliard national trumpet competition? The one where they play william tell.

I think he was just experimenting with a faster tempo.
Good attempt. Though I have to agree that this piece is more enjoyable at a slower pace.

fantastic

i just wonder why do you compare them to German brass anyway whom are known to be like one of the best brass ensemble ...there's just no point...That's just fantastic guys...!!

You suck at both arranging and playing. EW

you play seriously trumpet??? lol i think thats supposed to be the other way around (I play trumpet Seriously, in case you couldnt figure that out) and why does it matter how fast they played? yes i do agree that it lacked quality because of the tempo issue but who can really tell these guys what to do or how to play? we are watching some of the next joe burgstallers, or maybe some other famous trumpet player. i"m not trying to be a dick, just let them play what and how they want to play. Thanks
I know, the german brass are amazing. Thanks for listening though
