What can we learn from the price of a breakfast? The answer is simple. We can learn how brave children took a stand for education that became a struggle for justice. The bravery of the youth involved with the Student Uprisings in Soweto in 1976 is something that should inspire us all to work towards an even better future every day. This Youth Day, Wimpy invites you to celebrate and remember this spirit of courage in a special way. On Tuesday the 16th of June, visit your nearest Wimpy and enjoy a Youth Day breakfast including an egg, two rashers of bacon, two pork bangers and toast for the price of R19.76.

Wimpy believes in the youth of South Africa and knows that education is the key to a young individuals success in life. As such, Wimpy is giving away one bursary valued at R19 760 to put towards an education trust or to use for current education fees. To enter, simply SMS the word WIMPY, your name and age to 32310. Each SMS costs R1.00 and you can enter as many times as you like. The competition closes at midnight on Sunday the 21st of June.
