I don't think this film is representing Iran as a bad country, on the contrary, I think it shows the potential and essence of Iran if giving the freedom that the majority of the people want. This is a truly heart-wrenching and beautiful film, and not at all negative. And I am aware of Middle-Eastern customs and character, I myself am (and very proud to be) of Irani-Azeri descent. I was born and I live in the UK and I go Iran every year but I still found this a real eye-opener :)
