Star Force on the NES

Another great (and hard) shooter for the NES very similar to Star Soldier. If I'm not mistaken both games and Starship Hector/Hector 87' were part of the caravan of games featured in shmup competitions in Japan and all 3 were featured in a compilation called the Caravan Collection for the Super Famicom. The arcade version of Star Force is also featured in Tecmo's Arcade Classics Collection of the original Xbox.

I was doing so well at the beginning but utterly failed later on. Oh well at least enjoy the fail! =P

Looks very similar to the old Sega SC-3000 (the console before Master System) version. Only that one didn't scroll left or right. Great game!
