I believe this video is a good example to learn the values what life is all about. It's not about money or how you look! It's about love, care, appreciation and respect!
Faith is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children and we must teach them how to care and give to the once that are not as fortunate as we are. Children are more likely to follow what we do than what we say. Live our life the way we want our children and stepchildren to live. Practice family devotions at all times.
Compassion is when we try to understand someone's feelings from their perspective, and then we desire to help that person. Newborn babies react instantly to the distress of others by crying themselves. They are still too young to understand how to help others, but the empathy is there.

Compassion develops as a child's brain and thinking abilities develop, but parents can have a big influence on the resulting empathy their children have. If they encourage empathy, their children will be more empathic to others. If this is neglected, children get out of practice and may stop being so empathic.
