Ben Bernanke, although republican, and a incredible supporter of Capitalism, wants our system drive down the road of social reforms tilting to socialism, because he knows that would reduce the deficit, and pay back the debt to the banks. The only problem with that, is under a central banking system, a more Socialist nation would become a COMPLETE puppet to the feds... They would have 100% control over all economic, political, and war efforts. And we wouldn't be able to touch them.
