  • no stabilization at all it seems, but atleast the video quality is getting better. the TTC is so bad :(

  • There IS stabilization...

If you cared to read the description, I clearly stated that the image stabilization is OFF.

Hence there is an ON mode.

Therefore we can conclude that there IS image stabilization.

  • lol relax... it's digital stabilization, which sucks compared to optical, but the price is right.

  • Dude. It's NOT digital stabilization..

    I OWN the camera.

The Image Stabilization is NOT optical. It's a mechnical CCD stabilization.

The CCD sensor moves to counteract the small camera shake.

    Learn your facts.

  • So technically it IS optical stabilization.

  • Nice You Filmed one of the Older Hawkers that still exist today. Nice Video and HD Quality !

  • this quality is alot better than what i shoot. what are your rendering settings and does it help the quality if Image Stabilization is off? thanks

  • I really like this camera now! I mean it has the same video quality as a £400 camcorder! AND IT TAKES SHOCKINGLY GOOD PHOTOS! for around £200 AMAZING!

  • Is there any limit to how long you can record as long as you have enough space ? Say if i wanted to do a 20-30min video (maybe longer).. would that be possible ?

  • u know this is the best ive seen up to now. when i clicked HD it really made a difference tthat u could see. very impressive.

  • fuck I should have got this camera instead of my damn SD790IS =(

  • it is indeed CCD-shift stabilized, but ONLY for stills/photos. "Movie recording" is "with Electronic Image Stabilization".

Google "S2000HD Specifications" and click on the first link to Fujifilm's website. still a good deal though.

I guess we both have to "learn our facts" :)
