I waited till after he says" droid is starting" to try and start it on my droid x and it still finished first. Not that its surprising. Just impressive how phones evolve.

Why would you put a first generation Android device up against a current device? That's like putting an original IBM 8088 PC against a brand new computer today.

@thecyberati It's not exactly the same gap as an 8088 vs i7 (a 30 year tech span). The Droid was the second generation phone and is already much slower than the current top devices. This comparison was quite relevant when there were only a dozen devices on the market and the Droid had just arrived. People were asking me how much faster than a G1 it was, and this video was the answer.
