We can't help you morons let one of the best coaches who ever coached for the ORANGEMEN in Paul Pasqualoni (PSU Class of '72) go. You haven't been relevent on the college football scene since Donovan McNabb was QB there. Partially correct. It was a big rivalry, but they didn't even play each other once between 1990 and 2008....so you can't say it just lost it's luster the past 5 years. It hasn't been a rivalry for almost 20 years.

I'd like to see the rivalry renewed beyond 2009. Unfortunately, the only rivalry I can see Tim Curley keeping on the PSU schedule is Temple, which is about as one sided as rivalries get (yes, even moreso than Notre Dame-Navy). The last time Temple won was 1941.

What about then #1 Notre Dame in 1990, #6 Tennessee in 1993, #6 Oregon, #9 Ohio State, and #12 Michigan (#5 at the time) in 1994, Big 10 co-champ Northwestern in 1996, then #7 Ohio State in 1997, then #4 Arizona and then #8 Miami in 1999, Big Ten co-champ Purdue in 2000, #4 Ohio State in 2005, Pac-10 Runner up Oregon State and #9 Ohio State in 2008? Feel free to remind me of good teams I left out, because I'm sure there's quite a few. And Penn State was only in bad shape in 2000-2004.
