  • One of my very favorite shows of all time I grew up with. I wish there was a DVD boxed set of the entire series!

  • yeah, I've spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how Suzanne Sommers fitted in this show, but maybe I should quit drinking and go to sleep

  • @k9feces me too!!!!:D

  • I like this version the best

  • @RichHartley19671 yes, the earlier version was much better. I had not heard either version in 20 odd years until tonight. Takes me back to my childhood.

  • ;58 was hilarious. One of the 3 were suppose to catch her.

  • @MrChrisGraves1 you are hilarious with your comment. BURP ! excuse me :)

  • I just like saying ... VIC TAYBACK..I find if I drop odd names from the 70's and 80's into conversations that they in no way belong in, people stop talking to me sooner and thats a plus when I can;t fucking stand them in the firstplace..don't you agree that conrad Bain is laughing his ass off having outlived two of his tv kids when he was old as shit even back in the day?

  • flo looked great and to this day she lives in alabama

  • Suzanne Somers starred on Three's Company, which premiered not too long after Alice.

  • The show sucked when Flo left.

  • This is the beginning that started "used to be sad/used to be shy," but season 1 started with the lines (with a really cold, tough delivery by Lavin): "Early to rise/early to bed" with that out-of-sight guitar backing her. I really thought that they messed with perfection by replacing it with this. Also, Linda Lavin did go a little nuts here with her phrasing--e.g., the lines "Kickin-my-self-for nothin" and "got a smile/got a song" in which she really abandons herself.
