UCLA Student Tasered by Police in Library

I don't know what were the circumstances leading to them asking him to leave the library in the first place...but the officers gave him WARNING, AFTER WARNING, AFTER WARNING. That dumbass kid absolutely refused to comply. You refuse to comply you get tasered. He obviously has mental problems.

It just shows that cops are lazy, that they use the easy way out all the time instead of the right way out. They're 5 cops there, they could have taken just a little more effort to get this man into the car if they really didn't want to abuse the power they get from being a cop. And also they say that he's biting them, but I think it's just the cramps that the guy gets from the amount of electricity they pump into him.

cops picked him up and dragged him out in the end so why didnt they do that in the first place. coppers being heros with there tazzers

r u saying 100 fucking colledge students couldnt stop 4 fucking cops from hurting an already cuffed kid. if i was evan by myself i would have stude up to those fucking cops for what they did right there i would have got tased and arrested with him. but i would have still stude up for someone in need and for what i believed was right.

Why should the police have to? Their job is to protect the public not drag people around a library.

@crew i think their job is a little bit more complex than just protect and serve. As an officer you need to assess the situation instead of getting your tazer out become some ass can't get off the floor. Tazers were there for officers in place of using a baton or even a gun on someone who is being combative and unruly. Officers now use tazers for the slightest of noncompliance, i mean for shitsake the guy is already handcuffed, it's not like he's punching at officers. Drag him to the car!

The tazer is also used in the case of non-compliance to show you mean business.

In the end if he didn't want to get tazered all he had to do was stand up.
