I observed two sets of the tsunami 13:45-14:30, Feb 28 and took the second one on video. According to TV news, the third one was the largest, which I didn't watch.

  • The small swells coming one after another are tsunami. In Japan we call swells caused by an earthquake a tsunami, whether big or small.

  • Must be incredible, but small surfs were caused by the big earthquake in Chile! Almost all the Pacific coastal areas in Japan were visited by tidal waves, though luckily so small.
