  • This was pretty awesome...but how do you make the hob? Also, I'd love to see a bunch of other videos on the basics.

  • very good series of videos. I am a CNC lathe programmer, setup guy, and operator where I work at. I think it's very cool being able to get a software program to make the G-code for you. my only question is what was your mill cycle time to produce that gear?

  • Wow, good question and I would like to answer except I am not sure. It would depend of course on how many teeth you are cutting and the width of the gear. Next time I cut a gear I will try and make a note of the time it took.
