neighbors left their dogs doing this for the past hour. Happily, after 3 years of ongoing battles, including letters and videos and unkept promises, the couple owning the dogs filed for divorce and sold the house. The new owners have two indoor cats and do not like dogs.

That problem could be solved with a doggy door, not just training... I want my dog to bark at people who come near my yard.

You think that is bad, try moving to what is known as Mt. Hope Ave. in Bangor Maine. I swere there are over 100 dogs the live on that street alone, barking, yelping, growling, and the dog poop smell is horrable, not to mention the we dog fur smell. The street used to be upscale a long time ago, but now we've got a lot of shady neighbors moving in who own like a dozen dogs at a time and have the police over every night at 2am. So, we are moving away in another month.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, negligent and thoughtless dog owners. As a dog trainer, I know this problem could be solved with 2-3 days of training, and more responsible dog ownership.
