A demo I wrote in the vain hope of winning a hard drive. The music is by Moby and was ripped from the Impact Music Disk.
This was my fourth demo, after my previous efforts: "Deja-vu demo", "Fast and Furious demo" and "Nauseating demo". I was coding furiously but I still had a lot to learn, such as apparently how to copper list in the PAL area.
The counting digits were a rip-off from the Death Star megademo. The bobs graffiti effect was in imitation of the RAF megademo. The rest is too unoriginal to be copied from anywhere in particular.
I wrote this for a contest in the "Amiga Action" magazine, but to the best of my knowledge no winner was ever announced.
Even now, when I hear the postman call my heart skips a beat thinking it might be my Commodore A590.
I was planning to learn C in those days. I bought the Abacus books and managed to get a pirate copy of Lattice, so I thought I was all set up.
However, trying to compile C on an A500 without a hard disk is really painful!

Nice demo. Shame about not getting the A590 and it's whopping 20mb hard drive.
