Sega's very first game console the SG-1000. It was only released Japan in 1983. Very similar to the Colecovision hardware wise.

That was Sega's very first attempt to take a bite out of the console market in Japan, but Nintendo beat them to the punch with their Famicom. The SG-1000 NEVER made it to America, cause the US gaming market crashed, because nobody bought consoles and games.
