DME 6094 Northern Illinois Chase

On my Iowa/Illinois rail fanning trip that I took on the 20th and 21st I did a chase on the ICE Chicago. This is an Ethonal Extra headed for Chicago, with the DME 20th anv. unit leading.

After missing this train at Lanark, we headed on highway 72 east. We didn't know if we beat them to the crossing west of Forreston, so we headed to the next spot, West Adeline. I made a Mistake on my video and called it east Adeling.

The next Location is Leaf River Illinois, this is where the line makes some nice curves. I screwed up on the cropping, but it works. Listen as the trio of SD40-2s are in a higher notch than the clip before.

I missed the train at bryon, actually I couldn't find the location i wanted to get! So the enxt town I headed for was Stillman Valley.

The last spot I caught them at was the highway 72 bridge at Davis Junction, be aware, do not try this shot! The bridge is fairly narrow, and I was getting scared for my saftey!
