@ToreDL87 lol i dont think they killed my lsd. It is a GTS, original 4age bluetop all vin numbers match and say ae88. on my regi papers it says GTS. I believe a fair amount just came with a open diff, ill jack it up and check if it says lsd or not on the diff. Both are 1987 Corolla GTS on regi papers and all vin numbers including on the papers show ae88

Your GT`s must have been slaughtered for their LSD`s, or, are you sure they were GT and not SR-5 w/4A-GE swapped into them and GT stickers for the heck of it before you bought the cars? Check the papers.
Apart from that, the only reason I can think of is they could have been slided a lot by their previous owners, LSD differentials need maintenance after a lot of sliding or they`ll basically perform like open diff`s..

@ToreDL87 i read that it was optional in the GTS and GT-APEX. both my GTS didnt have lsd unless it wasnt working or something even though both of them had under 200k on them. i have heard there might be a potential gear ratio you have to be in for it to start working or something. do you know anything about that?

@slipNslidae86 Depends on the ae86 type yea, the SR5 has open diff, 21 spline t50 tranny and 4ac engine (Not to mention crap suspension)
the gt has 4age, 22 spline t50 and proper diff

@ToreDL87 a fair amount of the ae86's were open diff. both the ae86's ive owned are open unless i need to change the lsd oil or my gear ratio or something.
I listen to the video only for the soud, amazing

1) He's driving on tarmac for 99% of the race, why would he use all terrain tyres?
2) How do you know the rear end isn't already locked/LSD etc?
