damn, that truck ran. my friend's stock ls1 in a 79 TA ran 13.66@101 twice in a row with 3.23 gears and aod trans (realy low 1st gear). That truck is gettin it. I keep preaching to him converter and gears. that brings me to... what stall speed converter do you have and what cam?

Yeah Edelbrock makes a kit for about $700 that includes an intake and a MSD box that hooks to the sensors to fire the coils. Really easy to set up. No more jacking with a distributor and wires everywhere coming out of it. It came with 5 pills to change the timing curve and advance.
