  • Selespeed is very quick here! Noticeable for the age it was design in!

  • @danielhashim I admit, that Selespeed system that was fitted to early 156 and 147 was bad. But selespeed in 156 GTA and 147 GTA is almost 90% different, its from Ferrari F360! Which is very reliable! And later 156 and 147 model (non-GTA) got upgraded Selespeed systems, that didnt fail like they did before.

  • selespeed is the most stupid system ever developed!!!!! problematic, troublesome and this bring the alfa reliability down to 00000000000000

  • i have the 156 2.0 Selespeed. its amazing and the engine oh its so beaitiful. but it IS a second engine the first one well lets just say i was picking up parts of crankshaft behind my car. ye selespeed even when on city mode somehow sets the shifting depending on how u drive the car. its like it has memory setting or something. and yes alfas are amazing cars. FORZA ALFA ROMEO

  • @galbmw thanks for your answer, man. Yeah, i've observed that it only changes fast when i drive sporty, when in normal, "low consumption" city driving, it does it much slower. Anyway, i'm in love with the car now, in Alfa Red with beigue leather interior and almost in brand new condition... Alfa4eva'!

  • @ComandanteJ mate selespeed is good it does change like you would in a manual BUT if u shift at the right RPM. but otherwise its just like a paddle shift. and no you get used to it quickly. just put it in neutral at every traffic light and u should be ok

  • Hey! i'm about to buy a second hand '07 Alfa GT 2.0 with Selespeed, but've always used manual gears, so, it is difficult to get used to this system? I don't like the idea of not having a clutch pedal... i drove an Automatic Smart some time ago, and i didn't like the experiece, but, it had a delay between gear of about 1 second... yours seems to change a lot faster LOL.

  • The gloves...Mandatory !

  • In case you didn't know, that's the RPM gauge not the speedometer....

  • V6...che sound!!;)
