Have you ever tried Lush conditioners? You might try one to cover the scent of a shampoo bar. I use the Seanik shampoo bar and works so well for my hair. It cleans well; I have oily have, and it actually gives me some volume. After shampooing, I use Veganese conditioner which is a citrus scent so my hair always smells like Veganese instead of Seanik. Thought I would share since you don't like the smells of the shampoo bars. Maybe smell the conditioners and see if you like any.
