This was the episode that got them the parts in Star Trek.
-
Nimoy could talk fast....!
-
Commander Spock, Nurse Chapel, and Lt. Gary Mitchell. Riot!

Cool. The Early days..... Before Trek!
-
Gene Roddenberry did this series.
-
I just love Barrett's voice! And I love pretty much everything about Nimoy :D

Surgeon General's Warning: Smoking may cause greenish-yellow skin and pointy ears.

Friends, for all those who find this early TV series delightful, "fascinating" (I said it, YES I DID) and curious, might I say that it was good being in the right place at the right time. And if you were a friend of either Gene Rodenberry of Irwin Allen, then you were with the "IN"-crowd. And for those who wonder why Gene seemed to garner emnity from certain quarters about his "writing skills", understand that this may be "shop talk" in Hollywood for copywrite warfare, and who gets the benefits!

@landline00. The episode that Gary Lockwood and Leonard Nimoy were in together was the second Star Trek pilot "Where No Man Has Gone Before"
Mr. Spock was still not fully formed yet, but this is what George Takei had to say about meeting him: "I am here." A voice came out of the dark . And into the light emerged not an actor, but a surreal presence...There was a curious credibility about him. Instead of seeming fantastical, he moved onto the bridge like a proud but somewhat wary foreigner...
