@SequelFinalNight You can play the EZ server on Project 1999...But you'll have to work for the best gear they don't just give it to you lol. And btw project 1999 has a lot of issues with staff/service etc.

@CaptainViral84 and upgrade from wow in norath wouldnt be bad, just as long as it is based on what wow took from eq. as well as a few aspects that wow has used that eq could use, like the guild and party tools. though i hope they go back to the old achevement system where it was something you did at a higher level then 10. your just learning your full or almost full class skills at 10 you dont need a 100 diffrent options thrown at you with that.

I'm sick of these new age, casual mmo's for casual players. EQ's legacy lives on BECAUSE of it's difficulty. If Sony puts a big grindless "Easy button" on EQ:Next like they did EQ2....It will fail.

i played EQOA for over 7 years and nothing can even compare to the exp and joy that game gave me..ive played wow swtor rift eq1 eq2 dcuo..and many more idc to post. they could take frontiers and expand to pc , add an expnasion and i would be hooked again for years to come..its sad knowing these devs dont know true content and gameplay nemore..guess time will tell eq next will be there last attempt at a serious mmo imho... i still quad-boxing solo raids heh good times..

The "landscapes" shown there were confirmed in an interview somewhere (sorry can't locate it) by Smedley as being actual in-game art assets not just concept drawings.
