Have you had any issues on your P226 since this video posting?

+1 for Bill. Friend got his back the other day had SRT and trigger work done to it and it came up pretty damn sweet. Gonna send mine in soon.

did you change the grip on the gun, it looked like you had a different grip in the 1st video?
i think for centerfire its ok to dryfire the gun, its not good for rimfire guns, but im not 100% on that

did you removed the firing pin before dryfire the gun. or is it no problem on the sig sauer p226?

Thanks for the videos. I ordered the SRT parts from Top Gun Supply; Can't wait to get it installed.

None whatsoever. The short reset trigger is a factory parts package from Sig Sauer. The work Bill did was not "modification" in nature, just "clean up". I can't recommend this work highly enough! I've put over 1000 rounds through this gun since the work that was done. No hiccups at all!

Glad to hear you liked it. The SRT is fantastic!

Yes, I did change the grip. In the first video I am using the Hogue rubber grips with finger grooves. This is my favorite grip set up. I have large hands. The Hogue grip fits me perfectly! In the second video I had gone back to the original set of grips from the factory. They are much smaller. I had been working with my wife doing some training. The factory grips fit her better.

According to Sig Sauer's website, the FAQ section, it is perfectly safe to dry fire the P226. They do say that if you plan to dry fire a lot, which I highly recommend to master trigger control, you should use a snap cap.
