its not about being offended. its the ancient traditional name of the art. no can do with change. need to keep up with the culture and its origin.

i guess our country lacks unity.

it shows clearly:

ppl call kalaripayattu as a keralan martial art.

thang ta as manipuri and gatka as a sikh martial art.our country seriously lacks unity.

have a look at koreans,japanese and chinese for example.they call their style as their own country's, why can't we do that?

that's fine man i'm saying we shouldn't forget that we're indians first cuz youtube is for the world not just for india so "here" they've could've said indian martial art.

@anirudhkrishnamani It is called "Unity in Diversity". when I'm in India, I'm a Manipuri. When I'm here, I'm an Indian. That is what India should be proud of. We have our own cultural identity, but in the end, we are Indians.!!!!!

@anirudhkrishnamani Because realizing differences and accepting and embracing the fact is unity. besides real seekers of martial practices know that a martial art goes beyond name and culture.

but i like the rainbow colors to be together not seperate like we are (in the sense of our mindset).

whatever u may say but we indians hate each other.

c'mon there is a gujarati association,marathi asssociation,tamil asssociation etc. in the U.S.

but not one single indian association.

i'm not saying that we should all be the same but what i am saying is that we must be united.

@anirudhkrishnamani dude you cant compare unicolour and rainbow...India will always be a rainbow...a unique combination of colours...your idea of a Unicolour India never exists....please study the history of present India(u might not get in text books) then you will get all your answers..
