Yes, It is weak and unmanly to cry. Crying doesn't help solve any problems at all, it only proves that you are sappy, emotional and piss-weak by letting things get to you.
"men" are so soft these days, the REAL man is dying out. So it doesn't matter whether your girlfriend dumped you or you hurt yourself, you should be a man and move on. If your mother died it's okay to be sad but crying is just going TOO far.
So suck it up, keep it in, harden the fuck up and get on with your life!

@Starsatelbow Totally agree! Magasines are just a made up image of us. Women wants this and that from a man. It's bullshit. I fucking hate those magazine (I'm a woman), cause they only want to make money. Men are surposed to do this, women like this, men must be in control, women can cry and it's cute, women likes coffee latte, men likes to...blah blah blah. This is why ppl actually kill themselves. Stuffed in and unexpressed feelings giving them shame.

Being selective on crying? what?? That means you have to surpress feelings, and that is not healthy. And I'm not talking about crocodile tears for attention. I'm a woman, and I have masculine male friends who complain about being told never to cry, and they feel trapped by it. The ppl in the studio are shallow. It doesn't make a guy less maschuline to let out his true feelings. The whole control thing...that's why some guys are violent. They have to let their emotions out. It's sad.

These guys are applauding the freeing of men from age-old stereotypical roles, yet they are still basically saying men still need to keep the crying to a minimum. Don't cry "too much." Well thanks for your "insight", but I will cry as much as I want, because I am human, and nobody should deny their emotions (within reason) based on social constructs of what is or is not acceptable. Just live, feel, and be.
