Wow! I was there in September 2006, and there was absolutely no photo (flash and no flash) and video allowed, no way for both of it! Now I´m so jelaous on you, cuz I didn´t have the chance to take some nice pics from the objects I liked the most... But it´s really interesting that you were allowed to make pics with no flash in the museum, maybe they changed the rules... But Valley of Kings was the same during my visit too...
Oh, ok, I thought you were there in 2007 because the video was uploaded on February 4th 2007...yes, I knew that it was allowed until 2005 to make pics without flash in the museum. I was one and a half years too late.
I had the pleasure of seeing King Tut exhibit when it came to the States - I will be in Cairo next month and look forward to seeing it again. I heard you can film but no flash.
