Matrix Kinetic Typography Stopmotion

College project to select a scene from any movie and interpret it typographically, using the dialogue.

technique: Each frame was cut out of paper, projected (via an overhead projector, and in some parts simply by holding it in front of light) onto a white surface, photographed and individually edited within a week.

first i thought, "hey, hes not writing everuthing they say". then i realized, if i want exactly what they say i could see the movie, or just any typography. But you took time and did some really good interpretention. Thank you!

@2Pac515 I think that was my favorite part! I love that he actually thought about what they were saying and how to demonstrate that in an almost literal way without having to put everything they say. I enjoyed this MUCH better than most typographies on here.
