  • The Late Jim Healy played Jerome Brown's comments for about five years on his radio show (until Brown and his son were killed in a 1992 auto accident in Miami). Jim tried to retire the audio in the spring of 1987 but well known Los Angeles based sportscasters such as Dodger announcer Vin Scully and Al Michaels (who was at ABC in those days) loved Brown's comments so much that he kept playing the tape until Brown's death in 1992.
