@Chopper894 Buying your town name is just a way to have control over people who look for products and services in your town. You basically build a site where they would eventually pay you to advertise because you will be aiming to get your site as an authority when people type in (your town Plumber) for example. You could also populate this site with affiliate links. Get the idea?

@MrGrayTube I'm not talking about PC technology, I'm talking about how people will be searching the web from their TV's and being fed advertising streams taylored to their location from google's location algorythns. By having your own local .TV channel, you can guarantee that people will clock on your town or village name and if you provide good content, people will come back. A good way to develop a website to profit from.
