@MMunchMusic correct, religion is based on faith in something or someone and following those teaching. Scientology however does not fit into religion because does not fit the theology criteria. and they way these ppl (scientologists) act, you can feel something wrong.

@konman001 Yes but they dont alienate them from families and they dont charge money for lessons about their book. They also dont kill you if you try to leave their cult at a high level. People have been studying other religions for a while now and nobody has ever really had on a personal level the same evil tactics of an entire organisation against them. Many churches have leaders acting more tough, crazy or intimidating than they should but they rarely are the accepted face of the religion.
