I met Alec Palao a few years ago. He did'nt have a suntan , not that it matters. He's played with Magic Christians , Loons and even The Chocolate Watchband , and , of course , done some great reissues for Ace/Big Beat , like the G.S. I Love You (Japanese Group Sound) series. He's doing fine , right here. Bal once said he did'nt consider The Stingrays to be Psychobilly , nor do I. They fell in with that same scene with other bands who were'nt Psychobilly , either.

the joyz of thee English suburbings aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa H (bliss) Bounds Green / Turnpike lanes / Green Wood...and down south Bromley...and east Hillingdon...Rusilip...or maybe Ruislip's the last vegas of eastern London...I dunno...if u ask me now I think LONDON's just a big shithole...SUITS in the city...Tourists in the middle...paupers almost everywhere and middle-england on the outskirts...I wanna live on a boat !!
