@jv180sx flights dude an airport could not possible make 1% of their income from connection flights and they could connect in other places in asia

yeah i know how much comes from oil.... not alot.... tourism... they are building the place up to make it a touristy stop.... a way you have to think about it is.... they can reach any destination in the world from abu dhabi... or dubai.... so say your flying from england to australia.... you make that your halfway point... that is what they are trying to do.... i very much doubt they are going to go under... specially abu dhabi (seem to be alot smarter with money and development.

@jv180sx 7% comes DIRECTLY from oil not to mention the other countries that get there money to tour around with from oil the UAE is a small country they cannot possible produce that much in such a small area

@jv180sx you seem to not understand that alot of their tourism comes from oil countries therefore there are not going to be many tourists and such a high maintenance place cannot live on its own , this would be like if everyone lost there jobs who would go to disney world? probably not many people therefore it would fail, plus there are going to be more efficient means of fuel
