  • Note from poster: comment is correct! After 3 years of raising these birds, (this video was my first) I noticed this was a "defense" or aggression action if provoked. I did witness the mating dance this spring, VERY SPECTACULAR! wmorriso1

  • Wonderful video. They are endangered in the wild (Taiwan) but are among the most frequently bred in captivity. That, however, does not mean they won't vanish. The gene pool requires refreshing.

  • Pheasants are so lovely!
