Agh, funny yell at the end was that real, seemed to come after landing/crashing? Judging when to hang and how far forward you might penetrate, can be tricky hey. A slow descent into wind would probably have seen you down fine, rather than turning down wind at that height. Topless of king post?

if you run out of ground over shoot and back into lift band come round again. also when learning to top land come down in stages until you find the pewrfect aproach. mind you its easy t critisise, when up there you need to make a choice and stick with it. and remember you dont make mistakes you simply gather information to use next time. i.e bet you wont do that again. lol embrase this you cant gain experience otherwise. stay safe and happy flying

dont get it! Thats a coastoal site, so you took off into wind, didnt go xc, all you had to do was to land towards the ocean again, did it go from on to offshore?

I actually was coming in to land near the other gliders then decided I didn't have enough room so I turned tail and went to the back paddock but couldn't bring it around in time, actually landed cross wind with a bit of tail.

Funny thing that. I took the wheels off after thinking I didn't need them anymore. Now I always fly with wheels on both my gliders when not landing on the beach.
