You have a great accent, just like Stephen Fry. I live in Emsworth and its only a 10 minute walk to Langston. Often go to the pub for ice cream on nice summer days. This part of the south coast always feels rather special...almost wild, like it has not changed since the turn of the century. No wonder so many people drive there again and again, finding a parking space can be difficult.
i live in ireland now but i miss hayling ,i used to go there as a child and then took my daughter on holidays there .moved there for 3 years on southwood road ,then decided that the sea was getting way to near for my liking but i have happy memories and these vidios thank you
I'll buy the royal oak one day :) I have a beautiful photo I took in 2005 from virtually the same spot you were standing. The Weather was alot nicer too :)
I emigrated to America 20 years ago (on a bit of a whim, to be honest, which I've questioned myself about many, many times since) and I've only managed a couple of trips home (funerals and family stuff mainly, so not much time to get about, unfortunately) but I ever miss the place and old haunts. Thanks for posting this. Watching, I felt I was there with my dad =) Your little quips brought me a smile!
Mind you.. I remember Langstone on very, very choppy days. Sandbags to the hilt. Hold on...

(Sorry, word count ran out) Yet as teens we still waded our way to Havant.
Thanks again for posting. You really have brought a much needed smile to these parts. (You couldn't go over to Bosham next, could you? =))
Your dialogue MAKES the video, though! It really doesn't matter to me where you film next, I'll watch.
Give my love to home, eh.
